Easily reachable, the hotel served as an excellent base for exploring local attractions. Upon arrival, the warm reception, along with a refreshing “Chukku kappi,” made for a smooth check-in experience. I was escorted to a spacious deluxe room that featured quality linens, a well-stocked mini-bar, and complimentary tea and coffee facilities—a detail I appreciated as a filmmaker who works long hours. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, including a well-maintained bathroom with high-quality toiletries. The ambient pool area offered a nice retreat, and the fitness center was equipped for a thorough workout. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a pleasure, with a robust breakfast buffet catering to diverse tastes. While the hotel provides a good range of services, such as ticket assistance and housekeeping, I wish they offered maps or local guides. Oshin Hotel strikes a balance between luxury and value, making it a wise choice for travelers.
